GetHostMe (“we,” “us”) builds simple, shareable event pages. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Event details you provide — names, dates, locations, and descriptions you type in to generate your page.
- RSVP responses — guest names, optional email addresses, attendance status, and messages submitted by your guests.
- Account email— if you create an account to manage your pages, we store your email via our authentication provider (Supabase) to send login links. We don't use passwords.
- Basic technical data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type) for security and abuse prevention.
How we use it
- To generate and host your event page.
- To deliver RSVP responses to the page owner.
- To send login links if you create an account.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not use your event content to train AI models beyond what's needed to generate your page in the moment.
Retention and deletion
- Free pages are automatically removed approximately 7 days after creation.
- You can delete a free page at any time using the one-time delete link shown when your page is created, or by creating an account and deleting it from your dashboard.
- Deleting a page also removes its associated RSVP responses.
Third parties
We use the following services to operate GetHostMe:
- Supabase — database hosting and authentication
- Anthropic — generates page content from your description
- Stripe — payment processing (paid tiers only)
- Vercel — application hosting
Your rights
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@gethostme.com.
